Our carbon abatement cost curves are based on bottom-up granular technology- and process-based models across more than 200 individual abatement activities, paired with cutting-edge slice-and-dice analytics.

We provide marginal cost curves for both the supply and demand side. Analysis is underpinned by our proprietary marginal abatement cost (MAC) model and long-run marginal cost (LRMC) curves, which evaluate the cost of emissions avoidance and sequestration activities across the land sector, including ACCU generating methods.

Abatement costs and opportunities are measured at different intervals through to 2050, helping clients to evaluate changing costs over time.
