Last night’s Federal Budget contained slim pickings for climate policy, with federal government spending on climate change measures expected to fall over the next four years. The ALP’s Budget Reply will be held on Thursday night, with more widespread investment in climate policy measures expected to be included, in line with existing announcements, such as funding for industrial greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions abatement projects, and the Rewiring the Nation package.
