Last week, RepuTex released its Market Update for August, analysing the potential impact of amendments to the government’s Direct Action Plan as proposed by Senator Nick Xenophon, along with RepuTex.

In this webinar, we present our modelling results and discuss the proposed policy improvements:

  • Background to the modelling exercise
  • Proposed amendments from Senator Xenophon and RepuTex
  • Impact of individual amendments such as longer contract terms, re-design of the scheme to align with 2020 target and the impact of an improved ERF market mechanism.
  • Implications for ACCU supply, market prices and participants.
