INSIGHTS: Counting Credits – Baselines to ACCUs

The question of whether ERF participation will be worth the required time and effort has been raised by a range of firms since the release of the ERF consultation Terms of Reference. While issues remain about the size of funding available and the bureaucratic barriers to participation, a potentially larger issue is the uncertainty around how many abatement credits each company will be able generate, and how these credits may be bid into the ERF auction process – if at all.
