Our latest Carbon Weekly report has now been published, reviewing activity in the Australian and international carbon markets for the week 9 – 13th October, 2023.
The brokered ACCU spot market awoke from a relatively subdued fortnight last week, with activity picking up for No-Avoided Deforestation Generic ACCUs, leading to price increases within the Generic (low-cost avoidance) category. Internationally, the voluntary market has seen an uptick in activity since the start of October, however prices remained relatively stable across key categories.
RepuTex’s Carbon Weekly report analyses recent activity in the Australian and international voluntary carbon markets, including our ACCU spot price assessment by method, spreads, forward activity, traded volumes, and key market developments. Analysis considers the Australian market along with international registries including Verra, Gold Standard, the American Carbon Registry, and the Climate Action Reserve.
