RepuTex Energy is pleased to announce that it has been recognised as the Data & analytics firm of the year at the 2024 Energy Risk Asia Awards

The Energy Risk Asia Awards acknowledge excellence in firms that have contributed positively to energy risk management in the Asian commodities markets.

Specifically, the award recognises RepuTex’s status as the leading provider of data and intelligence resources for the Australian carbon and electricity markets, noting major milestones over the past 12-months, including:

  • RepuTex became the first price reporting firm to achieve compliance under the IOSCO PRA Principles for its ACCU price assessments.
  • Our ACCU price assessments are now the most widely adopted benchmark to value ACCUs sold under spot and forward contracts, with a market value of >$800 million.
  • The company’s EnergyIQ platform has grown to 1,000+ users from over 150 companies, helping energy and mining majors, trading houses, governments, hedge funds and utilities to form their view of the market, and guide strategic decisions to support Australia’s decarbonisation targets.
  • Almost 70% of corporate emissions covered by the Commonwealth’s Safeguard Mechanism compliance market are now RepuTex EnergyIQ subscribers.
  • Over 80% of traded activity in the Australian over-the-counter (OTC) ACCU market is underpinned by RepuTex customers.

Importantly, RepuTex continues to remain at the forefront of Australian energy and climate thinking. Our modelling has supported major policy developments, including the design of the Safeguard Mechanism reform, Australia’s 2030 emissions target, national renewable energy target, and Australia’s national emissions projections.

Thank you to our clients, and our talented team, which is committed to providing best-in-breed data and intelligence to support companies of all shapes and sizes as they begin to navigate the low-carbon transition – and access critical market datasets.

As we celebrate this achievement, we invite you to explore our capabilities for yourself!
