Renewed customer flow breaks $38/t holding pattern as ACCUs reach new year-to-date highs
Total traded volumes across the Australian exchange-traded and OTC carbon markets rose to 890k last week (+264k WoW), marking a fourth consecutive week above the 2026 weekly average as momentum begins to build into the new financial year.
Spot turnover lifted to 450k (+235k WoW), dominated by Generic (No Avoided Deforestation) ACCUs (91%), with the balance across Human Induced Regeneration ACCUs (6%), Generic ACCUs (2%) and SMCs (1%).
