UPDATE: Differentials for premium ACCU methods show greater convergence, yet intra-method spreads remain wide

Our latest Carbon Weekly has now been published, reviewing activity in the Australian and international carbon markets for the period July 1 – 5 2024.

Weekly spot volumes remained thin to start the new financial year, with liquidity provided by Generic and Generic No-Avoided Deforestation (No-AD) ACCUs, while activity saw our Generic ACCU and HIR ACCU assessments fall, halting the recovery seen throughout June. Across other methods, our assessed fixed price levels and premiums for Environmental Plantings, Savanna Fire Management with Indigenous co-benefits, and Plantation Forestry have begun to show greater convergence, yet intra-method spreads remain wide.
