UPDATE: Late flurry of buying lifts ACCU prices to 2-month high; Soil Carbon trades at premium

A late-week flurry of compliance-led buying pushed our Generic (Market Close) assessment to a 2-month high last week, as liable entities continued to show early signs of engagement. Activity for Soil Carbon ACCUs was also reported under our RepuTex Survey Panel, trading at a premium to Generic (Market Close).

Clean Energy Regulator publishes FY25 compliance data

Last Wednesday, the Clean Energy Regulator published final compliance information for facilities covered by the Safeguard Mechanism, for FY25 emissions.

Headline figures aligned closely with our in-house modelling, summarised in the table below, leaving our expectations for market development unchanged.
