As the market awaits the first Emissions Reduction Fund auction under the Government’s Direct Action Plan, a flurry of activity has taken place as firms seek to register projects ahead of final submissions.
The month of March saw a spike in new projects registered to participate in the ERF with a total of 26 new projects registered across a range of methods. This was the highest number of new projects to register in a single month under the ERF or CFI, suggesting the ERF will see diversified participation in the first round.
